The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung – Athens Office is participating in the Outview Queer Film Festival by supporting the screening of “Out In the Night” (Blair Doroshwalther, USA 2014, 75’).
The screening will take place on Tuesday, 12th of May 2015, at 17:00, at the Greek Film Archive (Iera Odos 48 & Megalou Alexandrou, 10435 Kerameikos).
Kostas Pantikiou, coordinator of the Support Group of Colour Youth will follow with a brief commentary after which the floor will be opened for discussion.

A few words on the film
New York. Four African-American lesbians are out for a walk. As they are walking, they are physically threatened and verbally assaulted by a man on the street. They defend themselves, but facts are distorted such that it is THEY who end up in prison and dubbed “The Killer Lesbian Gang” by the media. A true story about racism and homophobia, winner of countless prizes wherever it has been screened.
