Impacts of crisis

Poverty, the consequences of the economic crisis and the rising gap between the rich and the poor are issues that deeply concern RLS Office in Greece. Our office’s engagement is twofold; recording the phenomenon but also analyzing it and proposing alternative ways of redistributing wealth. A first analysis of poverty’s spread, both in Greece and in Europe, reflected a tendency to distinguish between poor South and wealthy North, while at the same time, European Union is failing to its role as a political structure based on solidarity and equality.
